This material comes in 10 foot bars is light and stiff enough, 1/2 inch conduit will do the job, but 3/4 inch is better. you will need 8 bars to build your frame, at a cost of 2 to 3 dollars a bar, this is very inexpensive. You may also have a need for the fittings made to secure the bars between then if you decide to cut the bars in half as explained. Use rubber bands (old tire tubes) to secure the bars together.
