There are ten outfitters at Ile-aux-Grues, Every outfitter offers their services in American plan. All of them are well organised. You will live in a family atmosphere, taste their excellent food. They will tell you the secrets to their excellent goose recipes. You will appreciate their warm reception. These people are used to welcoming visitors in their nice clean ancestral houses and in no time you become friends.

They provide full service, goose hunting blinds on the sandbank , guides, retriever dogs, and decoys, clean the geese, and keep them in a cold place for you. Outside hunting season, they become Bed and Breakfast operators. (See our suggestions below.)

The Hotel-Motel l'Oie Blanche is another option and also Croisi�re Lachance (Lachance boat cruise) that offers snow goose hunting around the archipelago.

With Croisi�re Lachance, you sleep and eat on the boat, they drop you in a goose hunting blind in the morning either at low or high tide. They stay around and move you from high to low tide as the day advance.

You can also try goose hunting in Montmagny .It is not as exotic as Ile-aux-Grues, but the hunting is very good. Montmagny and the area is where Greater snow geese peak to 300,000 individual during October each year.
