Outfitters are numerous in the Montmagny, Québec area, because greater snow geese are abundant. From the end of September to around the 10th of November each year, greater snow geese can be observed and hunted here.
Greater snow geese can number as many as 300,000 individual during peak days in the area covering
Cap-Tourmente

Ile-aux-Grues in the middle of the St-Lawrence

The most popular is ZEC de l'Oie Blanche. This is a non-profit organisation that controls greater snow goose hunting on the sandbanks of the St-Lawrence River in the Montmagny area. If you wish, the organisation will provide an experienced guide at a supplement of $100.00 per day for your group.
Besides the normal hunting equipment, you have to supply your own decoyselectronic calls(see how easy you can make one yourself) and retriever dog, and also take care of your own Lodging in Montmagny.
